The summer of 2003 was a summer for snakes. Maybe it was the rain. In any case, a snake stick is an essential tool that should be in every home and workshop. As you will see, the snake sticks here are practical, easy to use, and allow the user to relocate snakes and vipers without injuring them. The snake sticks are made of clay, metal, wood, goatskin, and string. They take one of two forms: forked and looping. The forked-end tool holds the head of the snake down so it can be picked up by placing the user’s free hand just behind the snake’s head. The looped-end tool provides the opportunity to keep more distance between user and snake, so that touching the snake can be avoided altogether. After securing the snake, relocate it to a more hospitable environment. Or perhaps just the presence of the stick will ward off the snakes.
Good luck...
